This role would suit someone from a sport, coaching, mentoring, or physical activity background who is confident working with children who respond best to structure, routine, and positive role models. About the Role Providing 1:1 behaviour and engagement support for a pupil with additional needs Using sport, movement, and practical activities to support regulation and focus Supporting behaviour strategies set by the school and SEN team Helping the pupil develop confidence, resilience, and positive social behaviours Being a reliable, consistent presence in the child's school week Who This Role Would Suit Candidates with experience in sport, coaching, PE, youth work, mentoring, or care Individuals comfortable managing challenging behaviour in a calm and controlled way Those able to set clear boundaries while building positive relationships People looking for part-time, consistent work in a school setting Applicants seeking meaningful, hands-on work supporting young people (This role is open to all applicants; applications are encouraged from candidates with relevant experience in behaviour support and physical activity.)
