Job Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment free from fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Deliver industry-leading customer service
* Deterrence of violence and public order offences
* Conduct store patrols
* Utilise CCTV systems to support crime reduction and stock loss prevention
* Liaise with store management teams
* Liaise with Police and crime partnerships to foster a great working relationship and support crime reduction in store
* Wear body-worn CCTV to support crime reduction and increase colleague and customer safety
Qualifications
It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances). You must have a full 5-year checkable employment/education history; failure to do so could result in offer withdrawal or employment termination.
