A warm and welcoming secondary school in Bridgewater is seeking a passionate Art ECT to join its creative Arts faculty from September 2025. As an Art ECT, you’ll:

Teach Art across KS3 and KS4, with scope to expand into KS5

Plan engaging projects across a range of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
*
Foster an inclusive classroom where every student is supported to develop their creativity
*
Support school-wide events such as art shows and cross-department creative initiatives
ECT support includes:

A supportive induction mentor and regular observations with feedback

Weekly planning and reflection time built into your timetable

Access to external CPD and partnerships with local galleries and creative networks

A strong peer network of other ECTs and experienced art teachers
What we’re looking for:

QTS (or on track to gain it by July 2025)

A degree in Art, Fine Art, or related field
*
Creativity, patience, and the ability to inspire confidence in young artists
*
Commitment to continuous development and inclusive practice
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
