Job Summary The Internal Aggregates Sales Representative supports the aggregates sales team by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role serves as a key link between customers, external sales representatives, operations, and logistics to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Handle inbound customer calls, emails, and requests related to aggregates products • Provide pricing, availability, and product information to customers • Enter, manage, and track sales orders accurately in the ERP/CRM system • Coordinate with dispatch, quarry operations, and logistics to schedule deliveries • Support outside sales representatives with quotes, follow-ups, and account management • Maintain and update customer accounts, pricing agreements, and sales records • Resolve customer issues related to orders, deliveries, billing, or product quality • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply constraints or changes to customers • Assist with sales reporting, forecasts, and administrative tasks • Promote company products, services, and safety standards in all customer interactions • Qualifications • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or construction materials industry preferred • Knowledge of aggregates, construction materials, or heavy building products is a plus • Strong communication and customer service skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Skills & Competencies • Customer-focused mindset • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, operations, and dispatch teams • Basic understanding of pricing, freight, and logistics concepts • Professional phone and email communication skills Work Environment • Office-based role with frequent interaction with customers and internal teams • Occasional exposure to quarry or plant operations as needed For more information please contact Daniel Moore in our Sheffield office or apply with your CV
