Role Overview
As a Trainee Account Manager, you will begin developing the skills needed to build long-term relationships with clients and support them in achieving great outcomes.
You will work closely with experienced Account Managers and internal teams to learn how to understand client needs, deliver excellent service, and contribute to ongoing improvements.
What you'll do
* Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
* Learn how to identify client needs and understand how to recommend appropriate services.
* Take part in regular client communications, reviews, and feedback sessions to develop confidence in managing client interactions.
* Support the delivery of high-quality services by helping resolve basic client issues and escalating more complex matters to senior team members.
* Contribute to operational improvement initiatives by sharing insights and assisting with team projects.
* Develop knowledge of the threesixty Client Portal and modular compliance management system (trust), working with IT and Marketing to support content and functionality as appropriate.
* Carry out basic data analysis to understand client engagement, competitor activity, and product usage, helping identify opportunities for growth.
* Support the Account Management and Sales Teams by preparing for and participating in Client Portal demonstrations and issuing contracts for services.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential requirements
* Customer service or similar experience in a professional services business
* Strong communication skills – written and verbal
* Competent use of Microsoft Office
Desirable requirements
* Interest in working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
* A general awareness of the financial services industry is helpful but not required.
* Competent use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Some awareness of the FCA regulatory framework is advantageous but can be learned on the job.

Location
Our office is in Wythenshawe and the team works from there 3 days per week.
