Join SDR Care as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker
Salary: Support Worker: £13.00 per hour Senior Support Worker: £13.90 per hour (Reviewed annually)
Hours: 36 hours per week (Days) An average 18 hours per week (Nights)
Working Pattern: Rotating Monday–Sunday schedule Mix of early, late, and night shifts
About the Role
You will be part of a dedicated, passionate team delivering outstanding support to a young person moving into their own home.
This individual is warm, affectionate, and loves building genuine connections with people who take the time to understand them - sharing jokes, having fun, and celebrating their successes. They have autism, mental health conditions, and a learning disability. They experience psychosis, which can bring high anxiety and vivid hallucinations. Your role will require patience, strong leadership, and a trauma-informed, person-centred approach embedded in all aspects of support.

You'll help them develop independence, confidence, and self-worth, creating a calm, structured, and enriching environment where they can truly thrive.
Senior Support Workers will additionally:
* Lead and mentor the team
* Ensure consistent, high-quality care
* Support professional development for staff
Who We're Looking For
* Experience supporting individuals with autism, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities
* Senior Support Worker applicants should have leadership experience and the ability to mentor staff
* Creative, resilient, and passionate about making a real difference
* Driving licence required for day roles (automatic, held for 1+ year); not required for night roles
