Quality Control Assistant - Guildford, Surrey £28,000 - £30,000 plus benefits We are looking to recruit detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Assistant to support our client in maintaining and improving quality standards across their operation. Outstanding work/life balance with a shorter working day Quality Control Assistant Key Responsibilities Support the team in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS). Coordinate and track documentation such as work instructions, quality records, and certifications. Schedule and support internal and external audits, including maintaining audit records and follow-up actions. Assist in tracking and resolving quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints. Maintain accurate records of quality metrics and assist with data analysis and reporting. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are understood and upheld. Support the onboarding and training of staff on quality procedures and regulatory compliance. Prepare reports and presentations related to quality performance and initiatives. Skills & Experience Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality support role. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with QMS software is a plus. Ability to prioritise and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Minimum GCSEs or equivalent; further education or a diploma in Quality Management or a related field is advantageous.
