Our client, a reputable, family run business are now looking to recruit a Managing Director to lead the business to double turnover to £20M and achieve EBITDA of 20% through comprehensive improvements across all areas of the organisation, including sales, operations, commercial strategy, innovation, and team performance. You will be based in their head office in Glasgow
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a growth strategy aligned with premium positioning in packaging
* Commercial Growth: Expand market share through new business development, strategic partnerships, and enhanced client relationships.
* Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across manufacturing, supply chain, and customer experience.
* Oversee pricing strategies and margin optimization to achieve profitability targets.
* Innovation & Product Development: Champion innovation in premium primary packaging solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
* Ensure sustainability and compliance with industry standards.
* Financial Performance: Deliver financial objectives: turnover of £20M and EBITDA of 20%

* Proven track record of scaling a business to significant growth.
* Strong commercial acumen with financial literacy with experience in EBITDA-focused strategies
* Expertise in operational improvement and change management.

Compensation & Benefits
* Salary: £120,000- £150,000 basic
* Profit related bonus
* Company car
* Will consider 3x Days a week P/T or Fractional or Permanent
* Expectation is office based (especially if not a full time worker)
