Honeycomb is delighted to be working with a long-standing banking client in Northern Ireland to recruit a Customer Service Advisor for their Ballymena branch. This is a temporary, ongoing role that provides a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable organisation known for its commitment to community values and customer support.
Role Overview
As a key member of the branch team, you'll act as the first point of contact for customers, providing professional, friendly service while managing day-to-day cash handling and teller activities with accuracy and care. This is a full-time position with standard office hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service by handling queries in a helpful and professional manner.
* Accurately process cash deposits, withdrawals, lodgements, and other teller transactions.
* Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, balancing your till daily in line with audit and security standards.
* Guide customers on suitable banking services and promote digital and self-service options where appropriate.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a smooth-running, supportive branch environment.
The Person
We\'re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, who thrives in a customer-facing role and enjoys working with money and systems in a structured environment.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in a role with direct customer interaction.
* Confidence in handling cash and working accurately with figures.
* Positive, approachable personality with strong communication skills.
* Ability to stay organised and manage workload effectively.
Desirable
* Prior experience in banking, retail cash handling, or financial services is highly advantageous.
* Full, clean UK driving licence
