Job Description

Tack and weld steel structures suitable for painting and final assembly as per engineering drawing.

About The Role

* Tack steel assemblies to create structures ready for full welding.

* Perform welding operations on pre‑tacked steel assemblies.

* Pre‑assemble multiple steel components to confirm accuracy and proper fit for final assembly.

* Operate a fork truck safely and efficiently to support production activities.

* Adhere to all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe working practices.

* Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards.

Desired Criteria

* Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or above
* Possess a Coded Welding Qualification
* Experience of operating a forklift
* Experience of operating a gantry crane

Required Criteria

* 3 years’ experience working in a fast moving manufacturing environment
* Must have the ability to read, understand and work from engineering drawings
