We are looking to add a Junior Paralegal to our Private Client team in Leeds.
This position provide support to the wider Private Client team. This is an opportunity that would suit someone who is keen to begin their legal career and who is also looking for long term learning & development prospects.

About The Role
Our Private Client team is one of the largest and most successful private client teams outside London, and work in a busy, friendly, collegiate atmosphere. The team specialise in the administration of complex and high value estates.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Dealing with all aspects of the administration of estates, including collating information on assets and liabilities, preparing applications for grants of representation and short form inheritance tax accounts, drafting basic estate accounts
* Drafting wills and codicils using established precedents
* Drafting powers of attorney, including Lasting Powers of Attorney (both property and financial affairs and health and welfare)
* Dealing with correspondence and liaising directly with clients and third parties; supporting solicitors in the team and helping them manage their caseloads by dealing with specific delegated tasks
* Ensuring files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures
* Keeping abreast of changes in legislation and other regulatory aspects by attending training provided
The Ideal Candidate
* Will have a law degree and have an interest in pursuing a career in law
* Have proficient IT skills - particularly Word and Excel
* Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Must be adaptable, willing, and capable of working flexibly and as part of a team
* Ability to communicate with people at all levels
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
