We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support our male client in his home environment. The role involves providing high‑quality care while working closely with his family to ensure his wellbeing, comfort and safety.

Job Title: Healthcare Assistant – Complex care
Location: Shepton Mallet, Somerset
Pay Rate: £13.25 – £22.00 per hour
Shifts: Nights – 21:30 to 07:00
Requirements: All candidates must be drivers.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal and medical care to the client in a home setting.
* Work closely with the client's family to coordinate care and share updates.
* Maintain the client's safety, comfort and hygiene.
* Assist with medication administration and monitoring of health status.
* Support mobility, repositioning and the use of equipment such as bipap ventilator.
Qualifications
* Proven track record of exceeding core values and helping clients achieve meaningful outcomes.
* Experience with bipap ventilator and other respiratory support equipment.
* Experience with moving and handling, including correct repositioning techniques.
* Knowledge of Wendylet Sheets or similar patient care supplies.
* Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.
About the Client
The client is a male who enjoys studying computer science and aims for a career in business and IT. He likes video games and movies and uses a mobile phone. He lives with his family and prefers a quiet, reserved environment where his privacy is respected and he does not engage in wider social activities.
