Type: Part-time (4 Days per Week, 28 Hours)
Salary: £31,314.10 pro rata (£39,142.63 per annum full-time equivalent)

Your Role
As a Senior/Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster families and ensuring the best outcomes for children in care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing guidance and support to foster parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
* Monitoring the suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Educating carers on the fostering task, competencies, and FCA policies.
* Conducting regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents.
* Collaborating with the child's network to identify needs and resources.
* Ensuring compliance with all key documentation for children and foster parents.
* Attending meetings and providing reports for Commissioning Teams.
* Encouraging participation of children/young people in agency development and community resources.
* Participating in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
* Conducting occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* A Social Work qualification.
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
* Strong report writing skills.
* A solid understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
* The willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
* A full driving licence.
