Section 1 - Essential Criteria
Qualifications/Professional Membership: Must have a recognized teaching qualification and a Level 6 degree or equivalent in Mathematics. Must be registered with GTCNI.
Experience: At least 1 year of teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4, with experience in using diverse teaching strategies and digital media.
Section 2 - Additional Essential Criteria
Knowledge: Understanding of the Northern Ireland Curriculum, Safeguarding, SEND Code of Practice, and IT systems in education.
Skills/Abilities: Effective classroom management, inclusive teaching, collaboration, and motivation skills.
Values: Reflection of the school’s values and ethos in professional approach.
Section 3 - Desirable Criteria
Experience supporting numeracy interventions, supporting pupils on the C/D boundary, and willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
