Purpose of the Role To provide a safe and stimulating environment for children attending Creche. Main Responsibilities To welcome parents, support children to settle, plan and implement activities. Promote individuality, independent play and be a positive role model. Follow all policies and procedures whilst adhering to safeguarding and inclusion. Maintain a clean environment, promote personal hygiene and manage infection control including nappy changing and supporting toilet visits. To complete all essential training before taking up the role. Skills, experience and attitude needed Knowledge of early years development and experience of working with children essential. Ability to work under pressure as part of a team displaying a positive attitude at all times. Personal qualities such as sympathy, empathy and respect paramount for working with Changing Lives families. Volunteers must be reliable and have the capacity to commit to one full day a week.
