The Financial Diligence team plays a critical role in high-profile transactions, analysing target company finances and projections, identifying opportunities and risks, and providing clear insights and recommendations to clients, banks, investors and other stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead engagements analysing the financial and operational results of target companies.
* Manage project teams and build strong internal links within Financial Diligence and across EY.
* Understand key business drivers, co-develop client approaches, agree value measurements, and provide insights, factual conclusions and advice.
* Project manage teams and collaborate with UK and international colleagues to form multi-disciplinary teams.
* Gather, verify and assess information to formulate views; plan, prepare and review deliverables in various formats including written reports and client discussions.
* Take the lead on business development initiatives, maintain key client accounts and develop new relationships.
* Coach and develop junior team members, contributing to a positive learning culture.
Qualifications and Experience
* A minimum of 8 years’ financial due diligence experience.
* A Chartered Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrating robust financial / business understanding.
* Ability to analyse financial and non-financial information to form views and conclusions.
* Strong analytical, presentation, project management and report-writing skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality client service and work in a team-oriented environment.
Ideally You’ll Also Have
* Demonstrable client account management abilities.
* Counselling or coaching skills (not essential).
