We are currently seeking a Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant with a SEN Certificate to join a dedicated team at a school in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs.
Role: Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Wolverhampton
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more.
* Assist teachers in creating and implementing tailored educational plans for students with SEN.
* Help students access the curriculum, ensuring they can engage in lessons and activities.
* Promote an inclusive and supportive environment for all students, helping them build confidence and social skills.
* Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to monitor and report on student progress.
Requirements:
* Qualified SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA Certificate) is essential.
* Proven experience in supporting children with SEN in an educational setting.
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies and practices.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply for one).
