We are a disability confident leader and we support reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process - for more information click An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food Safety Officer to join our professional and friendly Environmental Health team based in Irvine and covering the whole area including the scenic islands of Arran and Cumbrae. You must be an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills and be willing to help deliver a high quality service to the public, the business community and external organisations. Your main duties will involve Food Law inspections, complaint and infectious disease investigations and food sampling. Ideally you will have experience of undertaking food law enforcement, however, consideration will be given to recently qualified officers. Salary awarded will be dependent on experience.
