Job Purpose:
To provide a first class inventory and stores operation, delivering the necessary service level requirements to ensure the smooth running of a store room/department
What you will do:
1. Management of day to day inventory and stock control
2. Control all stock from goods inwards to despatch
3. Maintain and control stock levels
4. To source material and tooling for all related technical jobs
5. Processing orders and delivery of spare parts, components and lab equipment
6. Distribution of parts to technicians
7. Drive stores performance to meeting key service targets of 100% parts availability and zero stock-out related downtime
8. Minimal counter service response time
9. Maximise accuracy of database to reduce stock variance and the number of stock adjustment
10. Improved clarity of equipment specification to ensure the right parts are in stock and supplied
11. Drive excellent inventory management practices to ensure an optimum stock level value
12. To load and unload deliveries
13. Source, develop and maintain relationship with suppliers and subcontractors
Person Specification
What you will need:
14. Previous stores experience is advantageous
15. Front facing customer service skills
16. Computer literate with an understanding of MS packages
17. A full UK Driving Licence is required for this role
