You will work across the primary school age range, supporting pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing both in and out of the classroom. Your responsibilities will include: supporting teaching and learning in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 under the direction of the class teacher working with individuals and small groups to reinforce and develop learning supporting children’s reading development, including phonics acquisition supporting pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources contributing to observations and assessment where appropriate promoting positive behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy. You will: have experience working with young children in a school or early years setting be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic have good communication and teamwork skills be flexible and able to support across the EYFS and primary school curriculum be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children hold a relevant Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (desirable but not essential).
