Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Flexible – Days preferred (open to shift patterns)

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a slight electrical bias to join the engineering team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of production by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns
* Diagnose faults across electrical and mechanical systems
* Work on automated production lines, conveyors, and processing equipment
* Support production in minimising downtime and maximising efficiency
* Assist with continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety standards
About You
* Multi-skilled engineer with a recognised engineering qualification
* Electrically biased with strong fault-finding skills (motors, sensors, PLCs)
* Solid mechanical understanding (gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics)
* Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG preferred
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible approach to working hours (days preferred, but open to shifts)
