Job Description
2 new contract opportunities to contribute to the development of a robust, secure, and scalable ingress infrastructure for Kubernetes and OpenShift environments across both public and private cloud deployments. You will be integral in designing and implementing NGINX Plus Ingress Controller solutions, integrating security measures with NGINX App Protect, and assisting in guiding the network security team as we advance into modern container ingress technologies. Your role will involve cultivating relationships across teams to ensure that solutions align with enterprise security standards and provide long-term value.
Responsibilities
* Design secure and scalable ingress architecture for Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
* Implement NGINX Plus Ingress Controller with NGINX App Protect (WAF).
* Integrate ingress with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows, such as GitLab CI and Argo CD.
* Collaborate with network and cloud teams to align ingress with enterprise security posture.
Key Skills
* Expertise in NGINX – such as NGINX Plus Ingress Controller and NGINX App Protect.
* Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift for public and private cloud deployments.
* Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and implementing GitOps workflows using tools such as GitLab CI, Argo CD, and Hashicorp Vault.
* Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Bash and Python, for automation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA – Linux Foundation) certification.
* F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA) and NGINX qualifications.
These roles will be rolling 6‑month contracts operating fully remotely and inside IR35.
