The Role
* Deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 to students with ASD and complex needs.
* Plan and adapt lessons in line with individual EHCPs and differentiated learning needs.
* Use a range of visual, practical, and sensory-based approaches to engage learners.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
* Collaborate with support staff, SENCOs, and therapists to ensure holistic development.
* Assess progress regularly and provide feedback to staff, parents, and external agencies as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Experience teaching Maths (KS3/KS4); SEND school experience is highly desirable
* Understanding of ASD, sensory processing needs, and communication challenges
* Patience, flexibility, and creativity in adapting lessons to suit individual learners
* Excellent behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Aspire People)
