This is a highly strategic and independent role with visibility and impact at the very top of the business. You'll work directly across our Executive Committee, Regional Presidents, Global Functional Leaders, and Market MDs to frame key strategic questions and deliver robust, aligned answers. You will be encouraged to bring constructive challenge to top management, influence decision-making, and ensure strategic clarity across our global leadership teams. The role reports to the Strategy Director and spans corporate strategy, market and category strategy, and functional transformation. You'll lead projects that cut across the entire value chain—from Direct-to-Consumer platform strategy to supply chain transformation and global commercial growth. The work is fast-paced, diverse, and at the heart of enabling Diageo's ambition to be the best.
* Partner with the Executive Committee to shape Diageo's global strategic direction
* Lead and support major corporate, category, market, and functional strategies
* Bring aligned recommendations to senior leaders and Board of Directors
* Conduct strategic and financial analysis, including modeling to inform long-term decisions
* Provide an external and forward-looking perspective, considering economic, socio-demographic, geopolitical, and consumer trends
* Support solving complex business problems across functions
* Identify innovative solutions that influence senior leaders to adopt new points of view
* Operate independently, providing strategic leadership in cross-functional teams and projects
* Translate strategic thinking into actionable transformation across markets and functions
* Communicate complex ideas clearly to a senior audience
We're looking for a high-performing individual with a deep background in strategy, confirmed analytical strength, and the ability to shape and influence decisions at the highest levels.
* 8-10 years of professional experience, with a strong grounding in business strategy
* 4-5 years in a strategy role within a top-tier consultancy (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or a global corporate strategy function
* Proven track record in framing complex problems and developing data-led insights
* Experience across multiple markets, categories, or functions in a global environment
* Ability to influence C-suite executives and senior leaders
* Excellent analytical, conceptual, and strategic storytelling skills
* Collaborative, proactive, and confident in challenging senior teams
* Currently in a Strategy Manager, Senior Strategy Manager, or Corporate Strategy role in a global business (preferred)
