If you enjoy helping people and keeping environments running smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We’re seeking a Support Assistant who can bring energy, reliability, and a positive attitude to a busy, customer-facing environment. You’ll be part of a supportive team working across multiple sites, ensuring our services are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained for all users.
Your daily tasks will vary. You’ll answer customer inquiries, provide friendly service, and support general clerical tasks such as data entry and handling bookings. You’ll also engage in basic repairs, cleaning, and ensuring spaces are safe and presentable. The role may require moving items or standing for extended periods, and we will provide necessary equipment for safety. The position involves working on a rota, including evenings and weekends, and occasionally supporting other sites based on business needs.
Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.
About You
You take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a busy team. You bring a friendly, helpful attitude to every interaction, with patience and positivity when communicating with a diverse range of people. You have some experience in a customer-facing role and understand the importance of good communication skills, both speaking and listening. You are confident using tills, handling money, and following financial procedures.
You are willing to engage in practical tasks such as light repairs, cleaning, or moving items safely. You can work independently using your initiative but also collaborate effectively as part of a team. Your ICT skills are solid—you can manage emails, navigate online systems, and are familiar with Microsoft Office packages.
Importantly, you care about creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels respected. You understand how to recognize and respond to discrimination, and you see equality and respect as integral to daily work life.
This is a public-facing role, so fluency in speaking and writing English is required.
