Job Description
3. Oversee and manage quality assurance processes within the engineering and manufacturing department.
4. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
5. Lead quality audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues.
7. Analyse quality performance data to identify trends and drive improvements.
8. Develop and maintain quality documentation and procedures.
9. Support the training and mentoring of team members on quality standards and practices.
10. Liaise with clients and suppliers to address quality concerns and ensure satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
11. A strong background in quality assurance within the aerospace sector.
12. Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
13. Experience with conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
14. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
15. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
16. Strong communication and collaboration abilities
17. Experience with NADCAP and AS9100 (essential).
18. Aerospace or automotive background.
19. Strong CAPA experience.
20. Familiar with PPAP, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma, RCA
