Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias or 50/50 Location: IP12 Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 Shift Pattern: Rotating Days (covering 6:00am - 8:00pm) An established manufacturing business based in IP12 is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer with either an electrical bias or a strong 50/50 electrical/mechanical background. This is a key site-based role supporting production through planned and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery Electrical fault finding on motors, sensors, inverters, and control systems Mechanical work including bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and pneumatics Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime The Ideal Candidate: Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship) Electrical bias maintenance engineer or strong 50/50 multi-skilled background Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment Confident fault finding under pressure Flexible to work rotating day shifts covering a 6am-8pm operation What's on Offer: Competitive salary of £40,000 - £42,000 Stable days-based rotating shift pattern Well-invested site with modern equipment Long-term job security within a growing manufacturing business This role would suit a proactive maintenance engineer looking for a stable days-based position within a well-run manufacturing environment.
