Shift: 3 on 3 off – 6:00PM–6:00AM (Nights)
Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing site based in DE12 7QD. This Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position offers a highly attractive £53,000 salary working a 3 on 3 off permanent night shift pattern.
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance across site, ensuring maximum uptime and production efficiency. The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will carry out reactive breakdown repairs, planned preventative maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across production machinery.
This role would suit a confident and proactive Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable taking ownership on nights.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within an industrial manufacturing environment.
* Strong hands-on experience with reactive, breakdown and planned preventative maintenance in a fast-paced factory.
Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
* Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
* Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Previous UK experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
* Experience working with PLC systems and confident fault-finding using inputs and outputs.
