Overall job purpose
An exciting opportunity to develop a breadth of commercial skills and experience across advisory and formal members voluntary liquidation assignments with the Restructuring National Members Voluntary Liquidation team.
You will assist in the delivery of orderly wind downs, corporate reorganisation assignments, and work on members voluntary liquidation appointments across a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring quality service to all interested parties.
Responsibilities
* Complete assignments following the Firm’s procedures and statutory obligations, confirming arrangements with clients, companies, or appointers, including costs and billing.
* Collaborate with team members to plan and execute assignments, potentially managing cases, in accordance with procedures and regulatory obligations. Support may include:
o Providing training and support to junior staff.
o Managing Members Voluntary Liquidation from start to finish.
o Preparing and obtaining approval for engagement letters and documents.
o Completing KPIs for approval.
o Ensuring diary lines are met.
o Data entry into internal systems.
o General case administration, including billing.
o Experience in Members Voluntary Liquidation preferred.
o Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Understanding client challenges and developing solutions with the Partner/Director and team, including:
* Handling pre-appointment matters and advisory work.
* Attending initial meetings on-site.
* Communicating with clients.
* Analyzing and verifying information.
* Advising on wind down scenarios.
* Collaborating on group reorganization projects.
Assist with client onboarding and timely completion of procedures, monitor project budget, and communicate with stakeholders throughout assignments. Participate in marketing, training, and safety procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
Personal and professional qualities
* Experience in client handling.
* Background in Restructuring Advisory and/or Insolvency preferred; CPI qualification advantageous but not required.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* High commitment to quality and deadlines.
* Interest in promoting the service line internally and externally.
