Overview
Stockport Council has a paralegal opportunity within the Commercial Contracts Legal Team. You will work in a friendly and supportive environment as part of an award-winning Legal Team consisting of up to 50 colleagues across five legal sub-teams. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Commercial Contracts team, adding value and providing day‑to‑day support by reviewing, amending and drafting commercial contracts, facilitating the sealing of contracts, undertaking relevant research as necessary, working with STAR Procurement, and liaising with and advising client officers across the Council, its subsidiary companies and elected members.

Responsibilities
* Review, amend and draft commercial contracts.
* Facilitate the sealing of contracts.
* Undertake relevant research as necessary.

Requirements
* A highly motivated individual with a desire to learn and develop at pace.
