Accounts Assistant Poole Salary of £30,000-£35,000 CV Screen is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a fantastic, rapidly growing business based near Poole. This is a varied, fast-moving role supporting the Financial Controller, focused on delivering accurate finance operations while driving automation and smarter ways of working. DUTIES INCLUDE: Assist with monthly management accounts Handle high-volume accounts payable and supplier reconciliations Prepare and check payroll data Prepare and submit VAT returns Complete balance sheet reconciliations and journals Support cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and year-end close REQUIRED SKILLS: AAT qualified or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of AP, payroll, and general ledger Experience with VAT returns and management accounts Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, modelling) Problem-solver with an interest in automation and AI Experience with Xero or similar accounting software SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
