We are now looking for a Transport Clerk to assist with transport planning, documentation, and day‑to‑day operational support.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Support day‑to‑day transport operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
* Maintain and update transport documentation, including driver briefs/debriefs, delivery notes, and system entries
* Communicate with drivers, planners, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth coordination of activities
* Monitor fleet compliance, including defects, tachograph downloads, and vehicle checks
* Assist with reporting, KPI updates, and internal audits
* Respond to operational issues or queries, escalating where required
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or administration role is desirable but not essential
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
* Confident using IT systems (e.g. MS Office, transport systems, telematics platforms)
* Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
