Overview
Join Ocado Logistics as a Warehouse Operative. Be at the heart of preparing orders for customers in our state-of-the-art facility in Andover. We offer a variety of areas and shift options, with core rosters and a planable work pattern 6–13 weeks in advance to support your work-life balance. Some roles operate in ambient and chill environments (up to -5°C).
Responsibilities
* Despatch: 07:00–17:00 (Days) or 21:00–07:00 (Nights). Load totes into frames and into delivery vans; sort and organise returning totes. This is a physical role requiring the ability to lift heavy totes into frames.
* Pick: 05:00–15:00 (Days) or 19:00–05:00 (Nights). Pick and pack customer orders into totes, with support from robots.
* Inbound: 06:00–17:00 (Days) or 19:00–06:00 (Nights). Receive goods from suppliers and place them into totes for robots and pickers to process.
* Freezer: 05:00–15:00 (Days) or 19:00–05:00 (Nights). Pick and pack frozen items in a large freezer at temperatures up to -25°C; full PPE provided.
What you get in return
Salary: Hourly pay rate £12.35. Night shift premium £3.34 per hour (11:45pm–5:45am). Freezer premium £0.80 per hour. Overtime paid at basic x1.25. In addition to a safe working environment, we offer a range of perks and benefits.
