Hours: 10 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 17:00-19:00
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour plus Sodexo benefits
About the Role
Sodexo We are seeking a reliable and diligent Cleaner to join our team at our prestigious site in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure the site is maintained to a high standard. You will work in areas used by client staff and must adhere to health and safety regulations, as well as company and local policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete scheduled cleaning tasks as directed by your supervisor or management
* Undertake all required training related to cleaning services
* Wear company uniform and personal protective equipment as required
* Comply with all client policies regarding housekeeping, infection control, and security
* Follow COSHH and health & safety guidelines at all times
* Use cleaning task cards and adhere to colour coding policies
* Report faults with cleaning machinery/equipment to the supervisor
* Maintain stock areas and cleaning cupboards, reporting low stock or issues
* Complete all records accurately and promptly
* Report incidents, complaints, and compliments to your line manager
* Support the "One Team" ethos and cross-train in other departments as needed
Specification
Essential:
* Experience working in a multi-tasking environment
* Excellent communication and customer care skills
* Presentable and personable
* Knowledge of health & safety
Desirable:
* Previous cleaning experience
* Experience in a similar service environment, ideally within blue chip or prestige organisations
* Relevant training, qualifications, and experience in line with industry best practice
