As our client continues to grow, they are seekinga Cylinder Truck Delivery Driverto join their team. Your position is to provide timely delivery of products to our clients customers in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures. You will embrace our clients core safety values, being the safest gas company in the world. This role provides a front-line business-critical activity, being part of our clients team supporting our continuing customer relationship, which improves retention on a long-term basis.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
* Pre & Post vehicle check in-line with DVSA guidelines, and standards.
* Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.
* Maintain tachograph infringement level in-line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations, and standards, whereby regular feedback, monitoring and coaching will be provided to ensure full compliance.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Licence minimum category C1 and FLT preferred
* Proven driving experience (Where required) and min three years consecutive driving experience.
* Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years)
* Valid (in date) Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status (where applicable)
* Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment
* Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills
* Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner, and to achieve best in class performance relating to safety and efficiency monitored and supported by digital vehicle data
* You will need licence to cover 7.5t
