Job Title –Conference & Banqueting Manager Salary - £28,000 – £30,000 Location – Stockton-on-Tees Castle Employment Group are working in partnership with an exclusive venue in the Northeast who are looking to recruit a Conference & Banqueting Manager to support the catering team and wider management team in delivering a first-class events and wedding service all year round. For the right candidate the client is offering a starting salary of up to 28,000 over a 4-day working week with contracted hours of 40. In this role you will also benefit from a share of service charge paid monthly alongside your wages along with staff meals whilst on duty. We are wanting to speak to candidates who have previous experience working in events & weddings in ideally luxury environments, they would be confident in a hands-on role interacting with event organisers along with bride & grooms looking after up to 800 guests. You would need to have access to your own transport and be comfortable working evenings, weekends & bank holidays and benefit from being closed Christmas Day & Boxing Day. Role: Reporting to the operations manager planning & running a host of events across the year Develop & train the junior staff. Take responsibility for the bar & cellar areas. Attend weekly meetings with the wedding & events co-ordinators. Working towards the development of the offering on site and the team Ensure the smooth running of events across the estate.
