It’s a new position for someone to make their own and develop with the business.
My client is looking for an enthusiastic sales person with proven engineering or product sales and account management and soft business development skills to join their team.
On offer is a great salary of £30,000 - £37,000 with an excellent achievable bonus, plus company incentives – this role would suit someone with a strong customer service account management background with a customer lead sales ability both face to face field visits and on the telephone. Maybe you are looking for more of a client development role. The role consist of outbound development calls and client site project visits – beginning with lapsed clients to re connect and introduce the business again.
You will then work through a sales and lead database to build some new business opportunities to visit new clients – assisting with any quotations and samples. You will receive a bonus on any successful sales with all customers contacted.
Pricing individual quotations for customers, following up on enquires and quotations sent for new business. Managing samples sent to customers for review of products, the role could also support some hybrid working.
The role brings other internal support if needed within the customer service and quality teams.
The role is not a hard sell and very much driven by customer service and relationship building.
So, you will need to be confident positive as you will be the first person the clients will greet when they arrive on site.
You will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective clients that have previously enquires about the company products. You will be working closely with the Sales Managers to refine your sales development industry skills. Building key relationships with exciting clients, updating with new ideas and other business areas they may not be aware of.
There are great routes for progression within this expanding company, and they're looking for a someone who wants to develop within the business.
There will also be elements of administration support for the field account managers.
