We're supporting a national provider in their search for a Registered Manager to open a brand-new 3-bed EBD children's home in Leicestershire. You'll take full ownership from the beginning helping shape the culture, recruit and develop your team, and embed a child-first, high-quality standard of care.
Whether you're an experienced RM or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the step up, this is your chance to lead from the front and be part of a wider group that values quality, outcomes, and professional growth.

About the Home:
Located in Leicestershire
Newly registered 3-bed children's home
Focused on supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD)

About The Role?
Full responsibility for the setup, registration, and day-to-day running of the home
Recruit, lead, and develop your staff team
Deliver high-quality, safe, and structured care for young people
Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and all relevant regulations
Lead care planning, risk assessments, and multi-agency working
Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and key point of contact for professionals
Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, outcomes, and staff development
Manage budgets, audits, and internal reporting in line with policy
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role within children's residential care
Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards
Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks, Children's Home Regs, and The Children Act 1989
Confident leader with a hands-on, proactive approach
Experience with team development, compliance, and financial oversight
Full UK Driving Licence required
Flexible to manage on-call responsibilities and meet the needs of the service
