We are seeking a proactive and talented business analyst to join our Pharmacy Services team. In this role, you will play a key part in promoting the safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines by interpreting pharmacy and prescribing data, generating high‑quality insights, and supporting evidence‑based decision making.
As part of the Digital team, you will be dedicated to Pharmacy Services and work closely with senior leaders and clinical colleagues to help enhance patient outcomes and improve service performance across our organisation.

To Support The Pharmacy Services Team In The Development Of Robust Systems And Processes Which Includes Data Management And Development Of The Data Portfolio, To Ensure Data Is Used To Inform Service Development And Decision Making, Particularly
Enabling the better understanding of medicines use and service data to address ongoing challenges.
Supporting all data requests, ensuring data is contextualised, accessible and presented appropriately to enable easy interpretation by users.
Compilation of data reports, dashboards, and detailed analysis.
Timely data input across service areas, escalating problem areas as appropriate.
Standardisation of data collection to allow comparison e.g. within and between Health Boards, services, localities, contractors, staff etc.
Liaise with colleagues regularly to ensure data is received, understood and where appropriate complied with.
Quality checking activity and performance data.
Delivery of training to improve data management and understanding.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
