Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver 1:1 or small group GCSE-level tuition (subjects may include English, Maths and/or Science)
2. Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
3. Support students with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH or other additional needs
4. Track progress and provide regular feedback to parents/carers and relevant professionals
5. Create a positive, calm and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
6. Experience tutoring GCSE-level students
7. Proven experience working with students with SEN
8. Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
9. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
11. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or relevant tutoring qualification is desirable but not essential
