As a CNC Turning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing machining operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting your team to achieve production deadlines.
Your responsibilities as a CNC Turning Supervisor:
Lead and support a team within the CNC turning department, ensuring efficient workflow.
Set and operate CNC lathes using industry leading controls.
Machine precision components to engineering drawings, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Use appropriate measuring equipment and follow inspection schedules.
Maintain compliance with Quality Management and Health & Safety procedures.
Ensure timely production while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Your current experience which will help you as a CNC Turning Supervisor:
Completed a Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship.
Experience in a precision engineering environment with supervisory responsibilities.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use measurement equipment.
Experience with live tooling (preferred).
Ability to program CNC machines (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
What you can expect as a CNC Turning Supervisor:
Up to £24 per hour, dependent on experience. (40 hour week)
24 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
