Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Advanced Practitioner to join their Support and Protection Team

Responsibilities of this role:
* Lead and manage complex child protection and safeguarding cases
* Provide expert assessment, analysis, and decision-making in high-risk situations
* Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings and strategy discussions
* Mentor, supervise, and support Social Workers and Newly Qualified Social Workers
* Model best practice and ensure high standards of statutory social work
* Quality-assure assessments, plans, and reports to court and panels
* Support effective risk management and safety planning for children and families
* Provide reflective supervision and professional guidance to the team
* Support practice development and continuous improvement within the service
* Ensure practice complies with legislation, statutory guidance, and local procedures
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
