Description
* Prepare and submit timely and complete monthly and annual financial statements for management reporting purposes.
* Ensure that EMEA meets all regional reporting requirements with clear and insightful commentary on all material variances and trends.
* Responsible for the accounting records, ensuring these are maintained in line with IFRS and also suitable for management reporting purposes; at times having to overcome conflicts between statutory and management books.
* Overall responsibility for effective completion of statutory audit and annual filings within the timings stipulated by the Companies Act and group audit reporting deadlines.
* Overall responsibility for the EMEA balance sheet, ensuring accurate consolidation of the regions results and conducting regular reviews of individual entity balances to identify areas of focus and improvement.
* Ensure compliance with Global and Regional accounting policies and procedures and document and maintain local accounting procedures as appropriate or where different or in addition to group policies.
* Responsible for the delivery of monthly, half yearly and annual analysis of total EMEA costs within the existing matrix operating model.
