Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join our team at Keep Insurance Brokers. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, and fostering long-term relationships. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
– Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
– Understand clients' insurance needs and provide personalized service to meet those needs.
1. Account Management:
– Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely renewal and servicing of policies.
– Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to assess coverage adequacy and recommend adjustments as necessary.
1. Policy Administration:
– Prepare and process insurance quotes, proposals, and policy documents accurately and efficiently.
– Coordinate with underwriters and carriers to facilitate the placement of insurance coverage.
1. Issue Resolution:
– Address client inquiries, concerns, and claims issues promptly and professionally.
– Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any service-related challenges that arise.
1. Sales Support:
– Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products based on client needs.
– Assist in the development of marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
1. Market Research:
– Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights to clients.
– Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance industry knowledge and skills.
1. Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and account activities in the company's CRM system.
– Prepare reports on account performance, client feedback, and service metrics for management review.
1. Team Collaboration:
– Work closely with colleagues across departments, including underwriting, claims, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
– Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in account management or client services within the insurance industry.
* Strong knowledge of various insurance products and services.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional certifications such as Licensed Insurance Agent or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) are a plus.
