JOB TITLE - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School based in Bolton.The school prides itself on strong teamwork, excellent leadership, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Regular CPD opportunities are offered throughout the academic year, and depending on performance, this role may be extended or become permanent.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location: Bolton
* Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
* Full-Time: Monday to Friday
* Day Rate: £100 - £130 per day
* Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Previous experience working in a UK school is mandatory
* A minimum of 24 months of verifiable, child-related references is required
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience is desirable
* Experience supporting primary-aged pupils across various year groups
* Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable, including:
o Autism
o Speech & Language Needs
* Up-to-date safeguarding training completed within the last year
* Strong command of spoken and written English
* Experience within healthcare or supporting vulnerable individuals is desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
* Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last 24 months
