The Company
Abatec is recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturer in the modular building sector, producing high-quality prefabricated units for large-scale residential and commercial developments.
The Role
Due to continued growth and an expanding order book, Production Factory Operatives are required to join the team in Weston-super-Mare. This is a physically demanding, labour-intensive role within a busy manufacturing environment, offering stable, long-term employment supported by ongoing investment in people and production capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Manual assembly of modular units in a factory environment
Fibreglassing as part of the production process
Regular manual handling and physical work
Safe and accurate use of hand and power tools
Assisting with general production and warehouse duties
Strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards
About You
Previous manufacturing or production experience desirable (not essential)
Physically fit and comfortable with labour-intensive work
Confident using hand tools and basic equipment
Willing to learn new skills, including fibreglassing
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
