The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Estimator who is ambitious and keen to further their career
You will play a key part in:
* shaping the department and influencing which projects we tender
* improving our win rate
* bringing added structure to our tendering process
* working closely with the MD on commercial strategy
Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Tendering
* Prepare detailed and accurate job costings
* Manage multiple tenders simultaneously
* Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
Pre-Construction Leadership (Development Role)
* Manage the tender pipeline and priorities
* Support bid/no-bid decision making
* Improve tender submissions and documentation
* Introduce structure and consistency to processes
Commercial Input
* Work with the MD to shape pricing strategy
* Understand margin and risk on each project
* Support proposal presentations where required
What We’re Looking For
Experience
* Proven experience as a senior estimator in construction / fit-out
* Experience pricing commercial projects
* Strong understanding of subcontractor pricing and procurement
Mindset
* Commercially aware — understands how to win work, not just price it
* Organised and structured — can manage multiple tenders effectively
* Proactive — challenges poor opportunities rather than pricing everything
* Ambitious — wants to step into a leadership role
