Wates is looking for a Commercial Manager to join our construction team on a national basis, initially in Sunderland with our Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on high-profile, technically complex projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Commercial Managers play a vital role, encompassing both work-winning and project delivery, providing leadership, management, governance, and excellence across all commercial activities before and after contracts, whether for a single large project or a portfolio of projects.
As our Commercial Manager, you will:
* Drive commercial strategy, customer engagement, and repeat business, while managing, training, and developing the Commercial Teams.
* Utilize planning and project management skills to deliver multiple complex commitments, consistently using financial levers to grow profitability.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the commercial function supports other departments such as Design, Operations, and Pre-Construction.
