Summary We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join the team for a fixed period as maternity cover, the anticipated duration cover would be required is 9 months. As a Business Intelligence Developer you will be responsible for partnering with analysts, data managers and data engineers to support the delivery of Management Information, Business Intelligence, Analytics and Self-Service Solutions throughout the National Trust. Using your expertise in Tableau and Alteryx you will create scalable, intuitive visualisations to support the Trust's strategy and enable data led decision making. This role sits within the central Business Intelligence Team and will cover a wide range of Business areas, both creating new reporting solutions and supporting existing processes. This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 9 months. What it's like to work here The Business Intelligence Team help provide Management Information and Insight throughout the organisation primarily using our key analytics tools: Tableau and Alteryx. We work closely with stakeholders throughout the organisation to help ensure they have the right tools to enable business critical data-led decision making. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. What you'll be doing Working as a key member of the Business Intelligence Team tasks likely to include, identifying, defining and capturing Business Intelligence needs with a variety of stakeholders from across the organisation. You'll develop Tableau reports / dashboards - from gathering initial requirements to publishing and maintaining the final output on NT Analytics, the Trust's instance of Tableau Server. You'll curate bespoke datasets using Alteryx Designer and Server, ensuring all content shared with the organisation is clear and produced to a high standard. Work closely with the internal Analytics community, keeping them engaged with all things Tableau and Alteryx and you'll assist with training and upskilling other analysts where necessary.
