Job Title: Registered Manager Location: Natland, Cumbria Salary: £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience plus £65 per sleep in and £50-100 per on-call Hours: Full Time - Permanent We are currently seeking a Deputy Manager to join a specialist service supporting children aged 6-12 years old who have experienced significant trauma. The children living in the provision have experienced significant trauma in their lives, this has often been compounded by multiple breakdowns with family and foster care placements. The home help them to understand and name their feelings, helping them to develop strategies to allow them to be successful in all aspects of their lives. By the time they are ready to leave, children have the ability and resilience to cope with their next step. Main purpose of the role: To support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the home. In the absence of the Registered Manager, to be responsible for the safe and effective management of the home. To distinguish effectively between decisions which need immediate attention and those that can be deferred. To be responsible for shaping and delivering the residential homes Statement of Purpose and managing a team to achieve the same. To maintain the culture and implement the ethos of ATC. Requirements of the role: Minimum of 2 years leadership experience gained in a residential setting including, recruitment, training, managing performance, disciplinary interviews etc Experience of managing OFSTED inspections, and other regulatory bodies, frameworks, assessment standards and undertaking regulation 44 and 45 reviews Experience of handling conflict and managing sensitive issues to achieve positive outcomes Experience of working with budgets Experience of working in accordance with established policies and procedures and of developing and implementing new policies, practices and procedures Experience of managing health and safety issues, undertaking fire safety and health and safety checks and ensuring compliance with legislation Benefits: You will be part of a teamthat receive exceptional support and training from all aspects of the organisation.
